In CNC turning, the workpiece rotates while the cutting tool machines the surface. The method is typically used for round or symmetrical parts such as shafts, bushings and rings. In CNC milling, the workpiece is clamped in place while the milling tool moves along multiple axes. Milling is used for complex geometries with holes, pockets, flat surfaces and precise contours.

Tolerance indicates how much a component may deviate from the specified dimension. A tolerance of ±0.01 mm means that the part may deviate by no more than 0.01 mm from the stated dimension and still be approved. MSSP works with advanced measuring equipment, including 3D coordinate measuring machines, and can provide measurement reports as part of the quality documentation.

MSSP can produce precision components with tight tolerances depending on the geometry, material and production method of the part. The company uses, among other equipment, CMM measuring machines from Leader Metrology and DEA Global Silver Classic to inspect critical dimensions. Measurement data can be documented digitally and shared through MSSP’s cloud-based quality system.

MSSP machines materials including aluminium, steel, duplex and stainless steel. The company also works with cast and forged parts, including larger raw parts for industrial applications. Materials can be sourced through MSSP’s supplier network with a focus on documentation, traceability and quality from raw material to finished component.

Yes. MSSP is certified according to EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011 in execution classes EXC2 and EXC4 for welded load-bearing steel structures. The certification enables CE marking of relevant steel structures. MSSP also works with approved welding procedures, welding coordination and documentation for certified welding tasks.

Yes. MSSP can coordinate surface treatment through a network of qualified subcontractors. Possible treatments include galvanizing, anodizing, black oxidizing, nickel plating, zinc flake coating and thermal spraying. Surface treatment can be included as part of the complete delivery with relevant documentation and quality control.

Yes. MSSP can manufacture gears and gear components for industrial applications. The company has, among other equipment, a WMW Modul ZFWZ 630 gear milling machine.
